Environmental Impacts

As well as providing a location where wave devices can be demonstrated over several years, Wave Hub has been established with extensive baseline data to enable any environmental impacts of different devices to be determined accurately.

Below there are links leading to the various studies that made up the Environmental Statement that supported Wave Hub’s original consent application.

The scope of ongoing environmental monitoring will be determined in collaboration with the Marine Management Organisations through individual customers’ FEPA licence applications.
